I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making our sons christening party so amazing, everyone had a marvellous time and i cant believe how quickly the day went. Thanks again for all your support in ensuring Charlies day was special, I would definately recommend The Crown & Sandys to friends and family in the future.

We are thrilled that so many of our guests have commented that ours was the best wedding that they have ever been to! We would like to thank all the staff at The Crown & Sandys for making our wedding day one that we will all remember for a long time. The attention to detail in the planning   and understanding of our requirements was outstanding. The staff  were friendly, helpful and attentive and helped to make the day extra special.  In addition to all this, the food was superb; attractively presented and delicious! 

The Crown & Sandys is an ideal setting for a wedding. If anybody needs persuading or convincing that the Crown is the venue for them then please give them our number!

We were summoned to the Curradine Barns in Shrawley to a wedding just before New Year 2009. We had not done any research and chose the Crown and Sandys as it was nearby and offering a reasonable room rate with breakfast included. We couldn't find any reviews so decided to give it a whirl.
We were both very impressed with the building and the surrounding village. The welcome was brilliant, step into the bar and we were met quickly and given the key to our room. Although a fairly small room it was clean, well decorated and the shower facilities were excellent (powerful hot shower!). We also had the chance to peek one of the larger rooms which has a roll top bath located directly behind the bed. Very cool!
We decided to have dinner in the bar, which was really good with tripple fried chips and a pie of the day. A roaring log fire, Pie and a pint hits the spot after 3 hours driving from Sussex. The hotel kindly arranged the taxi and all other arrangements worked perfectly.
Breakfast was brillaint and contained some of the best bacon I've had. Not sure how they got it that good but it was brilliant. Sadly my hangover from the night before prevented me polishing it off!
For the money, I can't recommend the Crown and Sandys anymore. Having been on late rooms.com I can see I'm not the only happy customer. If I'm ever in those neck of the woods again I will definatly book myself in!

 Thank you so much for organising the taxis for me on saturday and for looking after us all so well. The whole event was a great success and ran very smoothly, no mean feat when there were so many small children present. Everyone i met enjoyed the occassion immensley, all down to your thoughtful and competent management.

Lovely mini-break - Picked up a good late deal on laterooms for Crown & Sandys and was very happy. Although primarily focused on the restaurant business, our room was well presented, comfortable and everything we were looking for. The staff couldn't be any more helpful, and the food was fantastic.I can heartily recommend this hotel.

What a great place!!!!! The crown and sandys is offically described as a restaurant with rooms but this does not do it justice. set in a great location the hotel is welcoming and friendly from checking in to breakfast next day. The rooms were brilliant with a great modern feel. The restaurant food can be described as fantastic. intimate dining with great produce and cooking made our stay. I would stay again without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Value for Money. This is a gem, I stay away quite alot and believe me you will not regret staying here. It has everything you need, ok a wee bit remote but it's worth the extra few miles for total comfort, excellent bar / restaurant and staff. I could go on and on but I will stay here again if I am down this way on business or even pleasure

Excellent - Will be back! We booked this hotel as an overnight stop, it turned into a romantic escape for the two of us. A fantastic hotel in a sweet village. We had a basic room, but with the quality of the furniture, and bathroom fittings, you wouldn't have known. The highlight had to be the food, I can't remember when I ate such good quality food....the service was excellent. Even the breakfast wasn't your normal bog standard fry up. We will definitley be back!!!
